Su San Hoi (Fossil Shell Beach)

Ao Nang

Currents have been carrying a vast number of shells of various types to be imbeded near the shores in the Su San area, piling up a large shell bed which is estimated to having an age of around 75 million years.

Catfish Farm

As you walk around the complex, you can feed the fish and watch them swarm as the food is dropped into the water. Certain areas of the river have been set aside for swimming and the water is cool and refreshing. The riverside restaurant serves up a variety of excellent dishes, primarily made with the farm's residents!!!

Hat Noppharat Thara

Beautiful beach which is lined with pine trees and coconut groves and some superb outdoor seafood restaurants. Not too many accommodation places here but the main area of Ao Nang is only 10 minutes away by road.

Island Hopping

Krabi has many tiny off-shore islands with beautiful unspoilt beaches and bays. Tours to these islands are now very popular and one of the better trips is the "Four islands tour", taking in Chicken Island, James Bond island and a couple of beautiful bays.
