There's also the small matter of over coming the steep climb consisting of 1,000 steps to get into the heart and soul of the caves.

These mountains, walling the river in between, are kind of the entrance to Krabi. They are accessible by a few minutes boat trip from Chao Fa pier.

Beautiful caves depicting drawings of early inhabitants and local widelife, some rarely seen now, can also be seen at these caves.
