This centrally located hotel has 44 smart and clean rooms, of which 3 have fantastic seaviews and are highly recommended for visitors who are on short visits or who expect to spend most of their time out on day-trips.
The image to the left doesn't do justice to the great seaview, we'll be replacing it with a better one soon.
These 3 rooms offer the best value in Ao Nang for those who like a great seaview and a central location.
The pool is of a size normally expected to be found in a house's back garden rather than in a resort, so this is not a resort for those who like to lounge around the pool while on holiday. There are only half a dozen pool loungers to go round, which in busy periods makes it impossible to get one.
Children will quickly bore of the tiny pool, and there is nowhere for them to run around. The pool is usefull as a place to cool off after a daytrip, or to fool around for a while, but not as a place to spend lengthy periods of time.
This resort is thus not recommended for families or for those who want to spend lengthy periods by the pool. For visitors who won't be using the pool so much, however, the resort's central location and good value make it an excellent choice, particularly if one of the 3 rooms with the sensational seaviews are obtained.
All the rooms in this resort are of the same type, 'Superior', and all are clean and tidy. The decor is uninspiring and the lumpy furniture won't be to many peoples' liking, but for the price charged the rooms are above average in standard, so there is little to complain about.
The hotel is built in an L-shape. The top floor, like all the other floors, has two sides, set together to form an L-shape. The side of the 'L' which faces south towards Nopparat Thara beach offers the 3 rooms on that side of the 'L' a reasonable view. There is a lift.
The side of the 'L' which faces directly out to sea offers the 3 rooms on that side of the 'L' a sensational panoramic view of the bay and its offshore islands. Poda Island looks particularly beautiful from up here, rising sheer from the aquamarine Andaman and fringed with a strip of yellow sand.
For some strange reason the hotel don't charge extra for these great 3 rooms, making them very good value indeed and highly recommended. Whenever we book this hotel, we request one of these rooms. There is no guarantee you will get one, but it is 99% likely that you will, as none of the big hotel booking websites have the local knowledge of which are the best rooms, so don't know which rooms to request. We are the only locally-based agency with whom you can book this hotel, so we can offer you this local knowledge, in addition to the rock-bottom prices below. These 3 rooms are very popular, so book early. The 3 best rooms is the resorts are all twins, if you would like a double room you have to do without a seaview and make do with a mountain view instead.
The above rates are net per room per night and inclusive of service charge and breakfast for 2 people.
